ரோமர் 12:1
அப்படியிருக்க, சகோதரரே, நீங்கள் உங்கள் சரீரங்களைப் பரிசுத்தமும் தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமுமான ஜீவபலியாக ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவேண்டுமென்று, தேவனுடைய இரக்கங்களை முன்னிட்டு உங்களை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்; இதுவே நீங்கள் செய்யத்தக்க புத்தியுள்ள ஆராதனை.
I plead to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that all of you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
ரோமர் 12:2
நீங்கள் இந்தப் பிரபஞ்சத்திற்கு ஒத்த வேஷந்தரியாமல், தேவனுடைய நன்மையும் பிரியமும் பரிபூரணமுமான சித்தம் இன்னதென்று பகுத்தறியத்தக்கதாக, உங்கள் மனம் புதிதாகிறதினாலே மறுரூபமாகுங்கள்.
And be not conformed to this world: but be all of you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that all of you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
யாக்கோபு 3:14
உங்கள் இருதயத்திலே கசப்பான வைராக்கியத்தையும் விரோதத்தையும் வைத்தீர்களானால், நீங்கள் பெருமைபாராட்டாதிருங்கγ்; சத்தியத்திற்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பொய்சொல்லாமலுமிருங்கள்.
But if all of you have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
யாக்கோபு 3:15
இப்படிப்பட்ட ஞானம் பரத்திலிருந்து இறங்கிவருகிற ஞானமாயிராமல், லெளகிக சம்பந்தமானதும், ஜென்மசுபாவத்துக்குரியதும், பேய்த்தனத்துக்கடுத்ததுமாயிருக்கிறது.
This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
யாக்கோபு 3:16
வைராக்கியமும் விரோதமும் எங்கே உண்டோ, அங்கே கலகமும் சகல துர்ச்செய்கைகளுமுண்டு.
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
யாக்கோபு 3:17
பரத்திலிருந்து வருகிற ஞானமோ முதலாவது சுத்தமுள்ளதாயும், பின்பு சமாதானமும் சாந்தமும் இணக்கமுமுள்ளதாயும், இரக்கத்தாலும் நற்கனிகளாலும் நிறைந்ததாயும், பட்சபாதமில்லாததாயும், மாயமற்றதாயுமிருக்கிறது.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be implored, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
1 கொரிந்தியர் 3:18
ஒருவனும் தன்னைத்தானே வஞ்சியாதிருப்பானாக, இவ்வுலகத்திலே உங்களிலொருவன் தன்னை ஞானியென்று எண்ணினால் அவன் ஞானியாகும்படிக்குப் பைத்தியக்காரனாகக்கடவன்.
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
1 கொரிந்தியர் 3:19
இவ்வுலகத்தின் ஞானம் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகப் பைத்தியமாயிருக்கிறது. அப்படியே, ஞானிகளை அவர்களுடைய தந்திரத்திலே பிடிக்கிறாரென்றும்,
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness.
1 கொரிந்தியர் 3:20
ஞானிகளுடைய சிந்தனைகள் வீணாயிருக்கிறதென்று கர்த்தர் அறிந்திருக்கிறாரென்றும் எழுதியிருக்கிறது.
And again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
யாக்கோபு 2:19
தேவன் ஒருவர் உண்டென்று விசுவாசிக்கிறாய், அப்படிச் செய்கிறது நல்லதுதான்; பிசாசுகளும் விசுவாசித்து, நடுங்குகின்றன.
You believe that there is one God; you do well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
1 யோவான் 2:15
உலகத்திலும் உலகத்திலுள்ளவைகளிலும் அன்புகூராதிருங்கள்; ஒருவன் உலகத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்தால் அவனிடத்தில் பிதாவின் அன்பில்லை.
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1 யோவான் 2:16
ஏனெனில், மாம்சத்தின் இச்சையும், கண்களின் இச்சையும், ஜீவனத்தின் பெருமையுமாகிய உலகத்திலுள்ளவைகளெல்லாம் பிதாவினாலுண்டானவைகளல்ல, அவைகள் உலகத்தினாலுண்டானவைகள்.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
