தானியேல் 8
15 தானியேலாகிய நான் இந்தத் தரிசனத்தைக்கண்டு, அதின் பொருளை அறிய வகைதேடுகையில், இதோ, மனுஷசாயலான ஒருவன் எனக்கு எதிரே நின்றான்.
16 அன்றியும் காபிரியேலே, இவனுக்குத் தரிசனத்தை விளங்கப்பண்ணென்று ஊலாயின் மத்தியிலே கூப்பிட்டுச் சொல்லுகிற ஒரு மனுஷ சத்தத்தையும் கேட்டேன்.
17 அப்பொழுது அவன் நான் நின்ற இடத்துக்கு வந்தான்; அவன் வருகையில் நான் திடுக்கிட்டு முகங்குப்புற விழுந்தேன்; அவன் என்னை நோக்கி: மனுபுத்திரனே கவனி; இந்தத் தரிசனம் முடிவுகாலத்துக்கு அடுத்தது என்றான்.
18 அவன் என்னோடே பேசுகையில், நான் தரையில் முகங்குப்புறக்கிடந்து, அயர்ந்த நித்திரைகொண்டேன்; அவனோ என்னைத் தொட்டு, நான் காலுூன்றி நிற்கும்படி செய்து:
19 இதோ, கோபத்தின் முடிவுகாலத்திலே சம்பவிப்பதை உனக்குத் தெரிவிப்பேன்; இது குறிக்கப்பட்ட முடிவுகாலத்துக்கு அடுத்தது.
20 நீ கண்ட இரண்டு கொம்புள்ள ஆட்டுக்கடா மேதியா பெர்சியா தேசங்களின் ராஜாக்கள்;
21 ரோமமுள்ள அந்த வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடா கிரேக்கு தேசத்தின் ராஜா; அதின் கண்களுக்கு நடுவே இருந்த பெரிய கொம்பு அதின் முதலாம் ராஜா;
22 அது முறிந்துபோனபின்பு அதற்குப் பதிலாக நாலு கொம்புகள் எழும்பினது என்னவென்றால், அந்த ஜாதியிலே நாலு ராஜ்யங்கள் எழும்பும்; ஆனாலும் அவனுக்கு இருந்த வல்லமை அவைகளுக்கு இராது.
23 அவர்களுடைய ராஜ்யபாரத்தின் கடைசிக்காலத்திலோவென்றால், பாதகருடைய பாதகம் நிறைவேறும்போது, மூர்க்க முகமும் சூதான பேச்சுமுள்ள சாமர்த்தியமாɠஒரு ராஜா எழும்புவான்.
24 அவனுடைய வல்லமை பெருகும்; ஆனாலும் அவனுடைய சுயபலத்தினாலல்ல, அவன் அதிசயமானவிதமாக அழிம்புண்டாக்கி, அநுகூலம் பெற்றுக்கிரியைசெய்து, பலவான்களையும் பரிசுத்த ஜனங்களையும் அழிப்பான்.
25 அவன் தன் உபாயத்தினால் வஞ்சகத்தைக் கைகூடிவரப்பண்ணி, தன் இருதயத்தில் பெருமைகொண்டு, நிர்விசாரத்தோடிருக்கிற அநேகரை அழித்து, அதிபதிகளுக்கு அதிபதியாயிருக்கிறவருக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்புவான், ஆனாலும் அவன் கையினாலல்ல வேறுவிதமாய் முறித்துப்போடப்படுவான்.
26 சொல்லப்பட்ட இராப்பகல்களின்தரிசனம் சத்தியமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆதலால் இந்தத் தரிசனத்தை நீ மறைத்துவை; அதற்கு இன்னும் அநேகநாள் செல்லும் என்றான்.
15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
16 And I heard a man’s voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
18 Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.
20 The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.
21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.
23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.
Jeremiah 43 in Tamil and English
1 ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಯಾವವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯ ವಾಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದನೋ ಆ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದಾಗ
And it came to pass, that when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of the Lord their God, for which the Lord their God had sent him to them, even all these words,
2 ಹೋಷಾಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನೂ ಕಾರೇಹನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನಾನನೂ ಗರ್ವಿಷ್ಠ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ-ನೀನು ಸುಳ್ಳು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾ ಗಿರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬಾರದೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Then spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the Lord our God hath not sent thee to say, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there:
3 ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕುವಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಸೆರೆ ಒಯ್ಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೇರೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾರೂ ಕನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೇರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದರು.
But Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against us, for to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.
4 ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕಾರೇಹನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನಾನನೂ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the Lord, to dwell in the land of Judah.
5 ಆದರೆ ಕಾರೇಹನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನಾನನೂ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಾವು ಅಟ್ಟಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಂದ ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದ ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರನ್ನು
But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from all nations, whither they had been driven, to dwell in the land of Judah;
6 ಅಂದರೆ ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಗಸರನ್ನೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಅರಸನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯ ರನ್ನೂ ಕಾವಲಿನವರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ನೆಬೂಜರದಾ ನನು ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಿಟ್ಟವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನನ್ನೂ ನೇರೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾರೂಕನನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು.
Even men, and women, and children, and the king’s daughters, and every person that Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah.
7 ಅವರು ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ತಹಪನೇಸಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.
So they came into the land of Egypt: for they obeyed not the voice of the Lord: thus came they even to Tahpanhes.
8 ಆಗ ತಹಪನೇಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಯೆರೆವಿಾ ಯನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.
Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying,
9 ಹೇಗಂದರೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ತಹಪನೇಸಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಫರೋಹನ ಮನೆಯ ಪ್ರವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಭಟ್ಟಿಯ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳತಕ್ಕದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
Take great stones in thine hand, and hide them in the clay in the brickkiln, which is at the entry of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah;
10 ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ನಾನು ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಈ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವನ್ನು ಇಡುವೆನು; ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮೇಲ್ಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಸುವನು.
And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.
11 ಅವನು ಬಂದು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಇರುವವರನ್ನು ಮರಣಕ್ಕೂ ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಇರುವವರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಗೂ ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ಇರುವವರನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವನು.
And when he cometh, he shall smite the land of Egypt, and deliver such as are for death to death; and such as are for captivity to captivity; and such as are for the sword to the sword.
12 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹಚ್ಚುವೆನು; ಅವನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ಯುವನು; ಕುರುಬನು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೊದ್ದು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವನು.
And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace.
13 ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೇತ್ಷೆಮೇಷಿನ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಹಾಕಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಮನೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಡುವನು ಎಂಬದು.
He shall break also the images of Beth-shemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians shall he burn with fire.
