மத்தேயு 7:13
இடுக்கமான வாசல் வழியாய் உட்பிரவேசியுங்கள்; கேட்டுக்குப் போகிற வாசல் விரிவும், வழி விசாலமுமாயிருக்கிறது; அதின் வழியாய்ப் பிரவேசிக்கிறவர்கள் அநேகர்.
Enter all of you in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
மத்தேயு 7:14
ஜீவனுக்குப் போகிற வாசல் இடுக்கமும், வழி நெருக்கமுமாயிருக்கிறது; அதைக் கண்டுபிடிக்கிறவர்கள் சிலர்.
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.
2 தீமோத்தேயு 3:1
எப்படியெனில், மனுஷர்கள் தற்பிரியராயும், பணப்பிரியராயும், வீம்புக்காரராயும், அகந்தையுள்ளவர்களாயும், தூஷிக்கிறவர்களாயும், தாய் தகப்பன்மாருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாதவர்களாயும், நன்றியறியாதவர்களாயும், பரிசுத்தமில்லாதவர்களாயும்,
This know also, that in the last days dangerous times shall come.
2 தீமோத்தேயு 3:2
சுபாவ அன்பில்லாதவர்களாயும், இணங்காதவர்களாயும், அவதூறு செய்கிறவர்களாயும், இச்சையடக்கமில்லாதவர்களாயும், கொடுமையுள்ளவர்களாயும், நல்லோரைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களாயும்,
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2 தீமோத்தேயு 3:3
துரோகிகளாயும், துணிகரமுள்ளவர்களாயும், இறுமாப்புள்ளவர்களாயும், தேவப்பிரியராயிராமல் சுகபோகப்பிரியராயும்,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2 தீமோத்தேயு 3:4
தேவபக்தியின் வேஷத்தைத் தரித்து அதின் பெலனை மறுதலிக்கிறவர்களாயும் இருப்பார்கள்; இப்படிப்பட்டவர்களை நீ விட்டு விலகு.
Traitors, rebellious, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2 தீமோத்தேயு 3:5
பாவங்களால் நிறைந்து, பற்பல இச்சைகளால் இழுப்புண்டு,
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
யோவான் 10:9
நானே வாசல், என் வழியாய் ஒருவன் உட்பிரவேசித்தால், அவன் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவான், அவன் உள்ளும் புறம்பும்சென்று, மேய்ச்சலைக் கண்டடைவான்.
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
லூக்கா 13:23
அப்பொழுது ஒருவன் அவரை நோக்கி: ஆண்டவரே, இரட்சிக்கப்படுகிறவர்கள் சிலபேர்தானோ என்று கேட்டான்; அதற்கு அவர்:
Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
லூக்கா 13:24
இடுக்கமான வாசல்வழியாய் உட்பிரவேசிக்கப் பிரயாசப்படுங்கள், அநேகர் உட்பிரவேசிக்க வகைதேடினாலும் அவர்களாலே கூடாமற்போகும் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
மத்தேயு 6:24
இரண்டு எஜமான்களுக்கு ஊழியம் செய்ய ஒருவனாலும் கூடாது; ஒருவனைப் பகைத்து ஒருவனைச் சிநேகிப்பான். அல்லது ஒருவனைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு மற்றவனை அசட்டைபண்ணுவான்; தேவனுக்கும் உலகப் பொருளுக்கும் ஊழியஞ்செய்ய உங்களால் கூடாது.
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. All of you cannot serve God and mammon.
மத்தேயு 6:19
பூமியிலே உங்களுக்குப் பொக்கிஷங்களைச் சேர்த்து வைக்கவேண்டாம்; இங்கே பூச்சியும் துருவும் அவைகளைக் கெடுக்கும்; இங்கே திருடரும் கன்னமிட்டுத் திருடுவார்கள்.
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust does corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
மத்தேயு 6:20
பரலோகத்திலே உங்கள் பொக்கிஷங்களைச் சேர்த்து வையுங்கள்; அங்கே பூச்சியாவது துருவாவது கெடுக்கிறதும் இல்லை; அங்கே திருடர் கன்னமிட்டுத் திருடுகிறதும் இல்லை.
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust does corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
மத்தேயு 6:21
உங்கள் பொக்கிஷம் எங்கேயிருக்கிறதோ அங்கே உங்கள் இருதயமும் இருக்கும்.
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
சங்கீதம் 128:1
கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து, அவர் வழிகளில் நடக்கிறவன் எவனோ, அவன் பாக்கியவான்.
Blessed is every one that fears the LORD; that walks in his ways.
மத்தேயு 6:33
முதலாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவருடைய நீதியையும் தேடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக் கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும்.
But seek all of you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
யாத்திராகமம் 20:4
மேலே வானத்திலும், கீழே பூமியிலும், பூமியின்கீழ்த் தண்ணீரிலும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறவைகளுக்கு ஒப்பான ஒரு சொரூபத்தையாகிலும் யாதொரு விக்கிரகத்தையாகிலும் நீ உனக்கு உண்டாக்க வேண்டாம்;
You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
யாத்திராகமம் 20:5
நீ அவைகளை நமஸ்கரிக்கவும் சேவிக்கவும் வேண்டாம்; உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தராயிருக்கிற நான் எரிச்சலுள்ள தேவனாயிருந்து, என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களைக் குறித்துப் பிதாக்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தைப் பிள்ளைகளிடத்தில் மூன்றாம் நான்காம் தலைமுறைமட்டும் விசாரிக்கிறவராயிருக்கிறேன்.
You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
யாத்திராகமம் 20:6
என்னிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, என் கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்கோ ஆயிரம் தலைமுறைமட்டும் இரக்கஞ் செய்கிறவராயிருக்கிறேன்.
And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
ஏசாயா 44:15
மனுஷனுக்கு அவைகள் அடுப்புக்காகும்போது, அவன் அவைகளில் எடுத்துக் குளிர்காய்கிறான்; நெருப்பைமூட்டி அப்பமும் சுடுகிறான்; அதினால் ஒரு தெய்வத்தையும் உண்டுபண்ணி, அதைப் பணிந்துகொள்ளுகிறான்; ஒரு விக்கிரகத்தையும் அதினால் செய்து, அதை வணங்குகிறான்.
Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindles it, and bakes bread; yea, he makes a god, and worships it; he makes it a graven image, and falls down thereto.
ஏசாயா 44:16
அதில் ஒரு துண்டை அடுப்பில் எரிக்கிறான்; ஒரு துண்டினால் இறைச்சியைச் சமைத்துப் புசித்து, பொரியலைப்பொரித்து திருப்தியாகி குளிருங்காய்ந்து: ஆஆ, அனலானேன்; நெருப்பைக் கண்டேன் என்று சொல்லி;
He burns part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eats flesh; he roasts roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warms himself, and says, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:
ஏசாயா 44:17
அதில் மீதியான துண்டைத் தனக்கு விக்கிரகதெய்வமாகச் செய்து, அதற்குமுன் விழுந்து, அதை வணங்கி; நீ என் தெய்வம், என்னை இரட்சிக்க வேண்டும் என்று அதை நோக்கி மன்றாடுகிறான்.
And the residue thereof he makes a god, even his graven image: he falls down unto it, and worships it, and prays unto it, and says, Deliver me; for you are my god.
ஏசாயா 44:18
அறியாமலும் உணராமலுமிருக்கிறார்கள்; காணாதபடிக்கு அவர்கள் கண்களும், உணராதபடிக்கு அவர்கள் இருதயமும் அடைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
They have not known nor understood: for he has shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.
ஏசாயா 44:19
அதில் பாதியை அடுப்பில் எரித்தேன்; அதின் தழலின்மேல் அப்பத்தையும் சுட்டு, இறைச்சியையும் பொரித்துப் புசித்தேன்; அதில் மீதியான துண்டை நான் அருவருப்பான விக்கிரகமாக்கலாமா? ஒரு மரக்கட்டையை வணங்கலாமா என்று சொல்ல, தன் மனதில் அவனுக்குத் தோன்றவில்லை; அம்மாத்திரம் அறிவும் சொரணையும் இல்லை.
And none considers in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?
ஏசாயா 44:20
அவன் சாம்பலை மேய்கிறான்; வஞ்சிக்கப்பட்ட மனம் அவனை மோசப்படுத்தினது; அவன் தன் ஆத்துமாவைத் தப்புவிக்காமலும்; என் வலதுகையிலே அபத்தம் அல்லவோ இருக்கிறதென்று சொல்லாமலும் இருக்கிறான்.
He feeds on ashes: a deceived heart has turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?
ஏசாயா 44:21
யாக்கோபே, இஸ்ரவேலே, இவைகளை நினை; நீ என் தாசன்; நான் உன்னை உருவாக்கினேன்; நீ என் தாசன்; இஸ்ரவேலே, நீ என்னால் மறக்கப்படுவதில்லை.
Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for you are my servant: I have formed you; you are my servant: O Israel, you shall not be forgotten of me.
ஏசாயா 44:22
உன் மீறுதல்களை மேகத்தைப்போலவும், உன் பாவங்களைக் கார்மேகத்தைப்போலவும் அகற்றிவிட்டேன்; என்னிடத்தில் திரும்பு; உன்னை நான் மீட்டுக்கொண்டேன்.
I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and, as a cloud, your sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed you.
ஏசாயா 44:11
இதோ, அவனுடைய கூட்டாளிகளெல்லாரும் வெட்கமடைவார்கள்; தொழிலாளிகள் நரஜீவன்கள்தானே; அவர்கள் எல்லாரும் கூடிவந்து நிற்கட்டும், அவர்கள் ஏகமாய்த் திகைத்துவெட்கப்படுவார்கள்.
Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.

தேவனுடைய மனுஷனின் வேலைக்காரன் அதிகாலமே எழுந்து வெளியே புறப்படுகையில், இதோ, இராணுவமும் குதிரைகளும் இரதங்களும் பட்டணத்தைச் சுற்றிக் கொண்டிருக்கக் கண்டான்; அப்பொழுது வேலைக்காரன் அவனை நோக்கி: ஐயோ, என் ஆண்டவனே, என்னசெய்வோம் என்றான்.
And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

அதற்கு அவன்: பயப்படாதே; அவர்களோடிருக்கிறவர்களைப் பார்க்கிலும் நம்மோடிருக்கிறவர்கள் அதிகம் என்றான்.
And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

அப்பொழுது எலிசா விண்ணப்பம் பண்ணி: கர்த்தாவே, இவன் பார்க்கும்படி இவன் கண்களைத் திறந்தருளும் என்றான்; உடனே கர்த்தர் அந்த வேலைக்காரன் கண்களைத் திறந்தார்; இதோ, எலிசாவைச் சுற்றிலும் அக்கினிமயமான குதிரைகளாலும் இரதங்களாலும் அந்த மலை நிறைந்திருக்கிறதை அவன் கண்டான்.
And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray you, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
