ஏசாயா 17:10
உன் பெலமாகிய கன்மலையை நீ நினையாமல் உன் இரட்சிப்பாகிய தேவனை மறந்தாய்; ஆதலால் நீ நேர்த்தியான நாற்றுகளை நட்டாலும், அந்நிய தேசத்துக் கன்றுகளை வைத்தாலும்,

இப்படி அவர்களைச் சுத்திகரித்து, அவர்களை அசைவாட்டும் காணிக்கையாக்கவேண்டும்; அதன்பின்பு லேவியர்கள் ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தில் பணிவிடை செய்ய நுழையவேண்டும்.

“எனவே லேவியர்களை சுத்தமாக்குங்கள். அவர்களைக் கர்த்தருக்குக் கொடுங்கள். அவர்கள் அசைவாட்டும் பலியைப் போன்றவர்கள். நீங்கள் இவ்வாறு செய்த பிறகு அவர்கள் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திற்குள் வந்து தம் பணியைச் செய்யலாம்.
