தானியேல் 1:19
ராஜா அவர்களோடே பேசினான்; அவர்கள் எல்லாருக்குள்ளும் தானியேல், அனனியா, மீஷாவேல், அசரியா என்பவர்களைப்போல வேறொருவரும் காணப்படவில்லை; ஆகையால் இவர்கள் ராஜசமுகத்தில் நின்றார்கள்.

இன்றையதினமே பெர்சியாவிலும் மேதியாவிலுமுள்ள பிரபுக்களின் பெண்கள் ராணியின் செய்தியைக் கேட்கும்போது, ராஜாவின் பிரபுக்களுக்கெல்லாம் அப்படியே சொல்லுவார்கள்; மிகுந்த அசட்டையும் எரிச்சலும் விளையும்.

“இன்றைக்கு பெர்சியா மற்றும் மேதியாவிலுள்ள தலைவர்களின் மனைவிகளும் இராணி செய்ததைக் கேள்விப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள். அப்பெண்களும் இராணியின் செயலால் தூண்டப்படுவார்கள். அப்பெண்களும் அரசனது முக்கிய தலைவர்களுக்கு அவ்வாறே செய்வார்கள். அதனால் மிகுதியான மதிப்பின்மையும் கோபமும் பிறக்கும்.

Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto all the king’s princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath.

And this day will the princesses of Persia and Media who have heard of the deed of the queen say `the like’ unto all the king’s princes. So `will there arise’ much contempt and wrath.
