அவன் அவர்களை நோக்கி: உங்களில் ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன் பட்டயத்தைத் தன் அரையிலே கட்டிக்கொண்டு, பாளயமெங்கும் உள்ளும் புறம்பும் வாசலுக்கு வாசல் போய், ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன்தன் சகோதரனையும் ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன்தன் சிநேகிதனையும் ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன்தன் அயலானையும் கொன்றுபோடக்கடவன் என்று இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றான்.

அவன் அவர்களை நோக்கி: உங்களில் ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன்னுடைய பட்டயத்தைத் தன்னுடைய இடுப்பிலே கட்டிக்கொண்டு, முகாமெங்கும் உள்ளும் வெளியும் வாசலுக்கு வாசல் போய், ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன் தன் சகோதரனையும், ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன் தன் நண்பர்களையும், ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன் தன் அயலானையும் கொன்றுபோடவேண்டும் என்று இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றான்.

பின்பு மோசே அவர்களை நோக்கி, “இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்வதை நான் உங்களுக்குக் கூறுவேன்: ‘ஒவ்வொருவனும் வாளை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு பாளையத்தின் ஒரு புறத்திலிருந்து மறுபுறம் வரைக்கும் போய் வாருங்கள். ஒவ்வொருவனும் தனது சகோதரனையும் நண்பனையும், அயலானையும் கொல்ல வேண்டி வந்தாலும் அவர்களைக் கொல்ல வேண்டும்’” என்றான்.

அவர் அவர்களை நோக்கி; “இஸ்ரயேலின் கடவுளான ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே; ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன் வாளை இடையில் செருகிக்கொண்டு, பாளையத்திற்குள் சுற்றிவந்து, வாயில்வாயிலாகக் கடந்து சென்று தன் சகோதரனையும், தன் நண்பனையும், தனக்கு அடுத்திருப்பனையும் வெட்டி வீழ்த்த வேண்டும்” என்றார்.
