அவர்களுடைய ஆலோசனைக்கு உட்பட்டவனாய், அவன் இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய யோராம் என்னும் ஆகாபின் குமாரனோடே கூட, கிலேயாத்திலுள்ள ராமோத்திற்குச் சீரியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசகேலுக்கு விரோதமாக யுத்தம்பண்ணப்போனான்; அங்கே சீரியர் யோராமைக் காயப்படுத்தினார்கள்.

ஆகாபின் குடும்பத்தினர் தந்த அறிவுரைகளை அகசியா பின்பற்றினான். இவன் யோராமோடு சேர்ந்துகொண்டு ஆராமின் அரசனான ஆசகேலுக்கு எதிராகச் சண்டையிட ராமோத் கீலேயாத் நகரத்திற்குச் சென்றான். யோராமின் தந்தையின் பெயர் ஆகாப். இவன் இஸ்ரவேலின் அரசன். ஆனால் ஆராமியர்கள் போரில் யோராமைக் காயப்படுத்தினர்.
