அவரவர் தங்கள் தோழரோடே பொய்பேசுகிறார்கள்; இச்சக உதடுகளால் இருமனதாய்ப் பேசுகிறார்கள்.

இப்படி அவர் சொன்னபொழுது, அருகில் நின்ற காவலர்களில் ஒருவன்: பிரதான ஆசாரியனுக்கு இப்படியா உத்தரவு சொல்லுகிறது என்று, இயேசுவை ஒரு அறை அறைந்தான்.

இயேசு இவ்வாறு சொன்னபோது, அவர் அருகிலே நின்றிருந்த சேவகரில் ஒருவன் அவரை ஓர் அறை அறைந்தான். அவன், “நீ தலைமை ஆசாரியனிடம் அந்த முறையில் பதில் சொல்லக்கூடாது” என்று எச்சரித்தான்.
