காத் புத்திரரும் ரூபன் புத்திரரும் அவரவர் கர்த்தருடைய சமுகத்தில் யுத்தசன்னத்தாராய் உங்களோடேகூட யோர்தானைக் கடந்துபோனால், அத்தேசம் உங்களுக்கு வசப்பட்டபின்பு, அவர்களுக்குக் கீலேயாத் தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுக்கக்கடவீர்கள்.

பிறகு மோசே அவர்களிடம், “காத் மற்றும் ரூபனின் கோத்திரங்களில் உள்ள ஜனங்கள் யோர்தான் ஆற்றைக் கடந்து செல்வார்கள். கர்த்தரின் முன்னால் போருக்கு ஆயுதபாணிகளாக அணிவகுத்து நிற்பார்கள். உங்கள் நாட்டை கைப்பற்றுவதற்கு அவர்கள் உதவுவார்கள். பின்பு நீங்கள் கீலேயாத் பகுதியை அவர்களது நாட்டின் சுதந்திரமாகும்படி கொடுப்பீர்கள்.
