இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கர்த்தருக்கு ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கும் படைப்பாகிய தசமபாகத்தை லேவியருக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்தேன்; ஆகையால் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நடுவே அவர்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமில்லையென்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னேன் என்றார்.
