பழிக்குப்பழி வாங்காமலும், உன் ஜனப்புத்திரர்மேல் பொறாமைகொள்ளாமலும், உன்னில் நீ அன்புகூருவதுபோல் பிறனிலும் அன்புகூருவாயாக; நான் கர்த்தர்.

உன் தகப்பனையும் உன் தாயையும் கனம்பண்ணுவாயாக; உன்னிடத்தில் நீ அன்புகூருவதுபோலப் பிறனிடத்திலும் அன்புகூருவாயாக என்பவைகளையே என்றார்.

உன்னிடத்தில் நீ அன்புகூருவதுபோலப் பிறனிடத்திலும் அன்புகூருவாயாக, என்கிற இந்த ஒரே வார்த்தையிலே நியாயப்பிரமாணம் முழுவதும் நிறைவேறும்.

இதற்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிற இரண்டாம் கற்பனை என்னவென்றால்: உன்னிடத்தில் நீ அன்புகூருவதுபோல் பிறனிடத்திலும் அன்புகூருவாயாக என்பதே; இவைகளிலும் பெரிய கற்பனை வேறொன்றுமில்லை என்றார்.

எப்படியென்றால், விபசாரம் செய்யாதிருப்பாயாக, கொலை செய்யாதிருப்பாயாக, களவு செய்யாதிருப்பாயாக, பொய்ச்சாட்சி சொல்லாதிருப்பாயாக, இச்சியாதிருப்பாயாக என்கிற இந்தக்கற்பனைகளும், வேறே எந்தக் கற்பனையும், உன்னிடத்தில் நீ அன்புகூருகிறதுபோலப் பிறனிடத்திலும் அன்புகூருவாயாக என்கிற ஒரே வார்த்தையிலே தொகையாய் அடங்கியிருக்கிறது.

நம்மில் ஒவ்வொருவனும் பிறனுடைய பக்திவிருத்திக்கேதுவான நன்மையுண்டாகும்படி அவனுக்குப் பிரியமாய் நடக்கக்கடவன்.

உன்னிடத்தில் நீ அன்புகூருகிறதுபோலப் பிறனிடத்திலும் அன்புகூருவாயாக என்று வேதவாக்கியம் சொல்லுகிற ராஜரீக பிரமாணத்தை நீங்கள் நிறைவேற்றினால் நன்மைசெய்வீர்கள்.

அவன் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்தில் உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உன் முழுஆத்துமாவோடும், உன் முழுப்பலத்தோடும் உன் முழுச்சிந்தையோடும் அன்புகூர்ந்து, உன்னிடத்தில் அன்புகூருவதுபோலப் பிறனிடத்திலும் அன்புகூருவாயாக என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறது என்றான்.

ஆகையால் நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும் சமயத்திற்குத்தக்கதாக, யாவருக்கும், விசேஷமாக விசுவாச குடும்பத்தார்களுக்கும், நன்மைசெய்யக்கடவோம்.
