These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.

இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சொல்லும்படி, கர்த்தர் சீனாய்மலையில் மோசேக்கு விதித்த கட்டளைகள் இவைகளே.

கர்த்தர் சீனாய்மலையில் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து, உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாளெல்லாம், நீயும் உன் குமாரனும் உன் குமாரத்தியும், நான் உனக்கு விதிக்கிற அவருடைய எல்லாக் கற்பனைகளையும் கட்டளைகளையும் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறதினாலே உன் வாழ்நாட்கள் நீடித்திருக்கும்படி,

உங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரிக்கக் கொடுக்கிற தேசத்திலே, நீங்கள் பூமியில் உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாளெல்லாம் கைக்கொண்டு நடக்கவேண்டிய கட்டளைகளும் நியாயங்களுமாவன:

கர்த்தருக்குத் தங்கள் பலிகளைச் செலுத்தவேண்டும் என்று அவர் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சீனாய் வனாந்தரத்திலே கற்பிக்கும்போது இவைகளை மோசேக்குச் சீனாய் மலையில் கட்டளையிட்டார்.

கர்த்தர் மோசேயைக்கொண்டு கட்டளையிட்ட எல்லாக் காரியங்களையும் ஆரோனும் அவன் குமாரரும் செய்தார்கள்.

கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, மோசேயினாலும் ஆரோனாலும் கோகாத் வம்சத்தாரில் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில் வேலை செய்கிறதற்காக, எண்ணித் தொகையிடப்பட்டவர்கள் எல்லாரும் இவர்களே.

நீங்கள் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைப் பின்பற்றி, அவருக்குப் பயந்து, அவர் கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு, அவர் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டு, அவரைச் சேவித்து, அவரைப் பற்றிக்கொள்வீர்களாக.
