நீங்கள் என்னிலும், என் வார்த்தைகள் உங்களிலும் நிலைத்திருந்தால், நீங்கள் கேட்டுக்கொள்வதெதுவோ அது உங்களுக்குச் செய்யப்படும்.

விசுவாசிக்காத யூதர்கள் வைராக்கியத்தோடு பொல்லாத மனிதர்கள் சிலரைச் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, பட்டணத்தில் கலவரம் உண்டாக்கி, யாசோனுடைய வீட்டைச் சுற்றிவளைத்து, அவர்களைப் பட்டணத்து மக்களிடம் இழுத்துக்கொண்டுவரப் பார்த்தார்கள்.

ஆனால் விசுவாசியாத யூதர்கள் பொறாமை கொண்டனர். நகரத்திலிருந்து சில தீய மனிதர்களை கூலிக்காக அமர்த்திக்கொண்டனர். இத்தீய மனிதர்கள் பல மக்களைச் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு நகரத்தில் கலகம் விளைவித்தனர். பவுலையும் சீலாவையும் தேடிக்கொண்டு இந்த மனிதர்கள் யாசோனின் வீட்டிற்குச் சென்றனர். பவுலையும் சீலாவையும் நகர சபையின் முன்பாக அழைத்து வரவேண்டுமென்று அம்மனிதர்கள் கேட்டனர்.

But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.
