அனுப்பாவிட்டால், நாங்கள் போகமாட்டோம்; உங்கள் சகோதரன் உங்களோடேகூட வராவிட்டால், நீங்கள் என் முகத்தைக் காண்பதில்லை என்று அந்த மனிதன் எங்களோடே சொல்லியிருக்கிறான் என்றான்.

அதற்கு அவன்: என் மகன் உங்களோடேகூடப் போவதில்லை; அவன் தமையன் இறந்துபோனான், இவன் ஒருவன் மீதியாயிருக்கிறான்; நீங்கள் போகும் வழியில் இவனுக்கு மோசம் நேரிட்டால், நீங்கள் என் நரைமயிரைச் சஞ்சலத்தோடே பாதாளத்தில் இறங்கப் பண்ணுவீர்கள் என்றான்.
Genesis 44:26
அதற்கு: நாங்கள் போகக் கூடாது; எங்கள் இளைய சகோதரன் எங்களோடே வந்தால் போவோம்; எங்கள் இளைய சகோதரன் எங்களோடே வராவிட்டால், நாங்கள் அந்தப் புருஷனுடைய முகத்தைக் காணக் கூடாது என்றோம்.
