தேராகு தன் குமாரனாகிய ஆபிராமையும், ஆரானுடைய குமாரனும் தன் பேரனுமாயிருந்த லோத்தையும், தன் குமாரன் ஆபிராமுடைய மனைவியாகிய தன் மருமகள் சாராயையும் அழைத்துக்கொண்டு, அவர்களுடனே ஊர் என்கிற கல்தேயருடைய பட்டணத்தைவிட்டு, கானான் தேசத்துக்குப் போகப் புறப்பட்டான்; அவர்கள் ஆரான்மட்டும் வந்தபோது, அங்கே இருந்துவிட்டார்கள்.

Nehemiah 9:7
ஆபிராமைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, அவனை ஊர் என்னும் கல்தேயரின் பட்டணத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணி, அவனுக்கு ஆபிரகாம் என்னும் பேரிட்ட தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நீர்.
