எஸ்றா 9:7
எங்கள் பிதாக்களின் நாட்கள்முதல் இந்நாள்மட்டும் நாங்கள் பெரிய குற்றத்துக்கு உள்ளாயிருக்கிறோம், எங்கள் அக்கிரமங்களினிமித்தம் நாங்களும், எங்கள் ராஜாக்களும், எங்கள் ஆசாரியர்களும், இந்நாளிலிருக்கிறதுபோல, அந்நியதேச ராஜாக்களின் கையிலே, பட்டயத்துக்கும், சிறையிருப்புக்கும், கொள்ளைக்கும், வெட்கத்துக்கும் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்பட்டோம்.
