என் முகத்தை அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாகத் திருப்புவேன்; அவர்கள் ஒரு அக்கினியிலிருந்து நீங்கித் தப்பினாலும், வேறே அக்கினி அவர்களை பட்சிக்கும்; அப்படியே நான் என் முகத்தை அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய்த் திருப்பும்போது, நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.

என்னுடைய முகத்தை அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாகத் திருப்புவேன்; அவர்கள் ஒரு நெருப்பிலிருந்து நீங்கித் தப்பினாலும், வேறே நெருப்பு அவர்களை எரிக்கும்; அப்படியே நான் என்னுடைய முகத்தை அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாகத் திருப்பும்போது, நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.

“நான் அந்த ஜனங்களைத் தண்டிப்பேன். ஆனால் ஜனங்களில் சிலர் முழுவதும் எரியாத குச்சிகளைப் போன்றுள்ளனர். அவர்கள் தண்டிக்கப்படுவார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்கள் முழுவதுமாக அழிக்கப்படவில்லை. அந்த ஜனங்களை நான் தண்டித்தேன் என்பதை நீ பார்ப்பாய். நானே கர்த்தர் என்பதை நீ அறிவாய்!

And I will set my face against them; they shall go out from one fire, and another fire shall devour them; and ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I set my face against them.

And I will set my face against them; they shall go forth from the fire, but the fire shall devour them; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah, when I set my face against them.
