யாத்திராகமம் 32:23
இவர்கள் என்னை நோக்கி: எங்களுக்கு முன்செல்லும் தெய்வங்களை எங்களுக்கு உண்டுபண்ணும்; எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து எங்களை அழைத்துக்கொண்டுவந்த அந்த மோசேக்கு என்ன சம்பவித்ததோ அறியோம் என்றார்கள்.

இப்படிக் கர்த்தர் எசேக்கியாவையும் எருசலேமின் குடிமக்களையும் அசீரியருடைய ராஜாவாகிய. சனகெரிபின் கைக்கும் மற்ற எல்லோருடைய கைக்கும் விலக்கிக் காப்பாற்றி, அவர்களைச் சுற்றுப்புறத்தாருக்கு விலக்கி ஆதரித்து நடத்தினார்.
