குற்றவாளி அடிகளுக்குப் பாத்திரவானானால், நியாயாதிபதி அவனைக் கீழேகிடக்கப்பண்ணி, அவன் குற்றத்திற்குத்தக்கதாய்த் தனக்கு முன்பாகக் கணக்கின்படி அவனை அடிப்பிக்கக்கடவன்.

குற்றவாளி அடிபட வேண்டியவனென்றால், நீதிபதி அவனைப் படுக்கச்செய்து தம் முன்னிலையில் அடிக்கச் செய்வார். அவனது குற்றத்திற்கு ஏற்ப அடிகளின் எண்ணிக்கையும் இருக்கும்.
