முன்பு தமஸ்குவிலும் எருசலேமிலும் யூதேயா தேசமெங்குமுள்ளவர்களிடத்திலும், பின்பு புறஜாதியாரிடத்திலும் நான் போய், அவர்கள் தேவனிடத்திற்கு மனந்திரும்பிக் குணப்படவும், மனந்திரும்புதலுக்கேற்ற கிரியைகளைச் செய்யவும் வேண்டுமென்று அறிவித்தேன்.

முன்பு தமஸ்குவிலும் எருசலேமிலும் யூதேயா நாடெங்குமுள்ளவர்களிடத்திலும், பின்பு யூதரல்லாதோர்களிடத்திலும் நான் போய், அவர்கள் தேவனிடத்திற்கு மனம்திரும்பி குணப்படவும், மனம்திரும்புவதற்கேற்ற செயல்களைச் செய்யவும் வேண்டுமென்று அறிவித்தேன்.

மக்கள் அவர்களது இருதயங்களையும் வாழ்க்கைகளையும் மாற்றிக்கொண்டு, தேவனிடம் திரும்ப வேண்டுமென்று அவர்களுக்குக் கூற ஆரம்பித்தேன். அவர்கள் மனம் மாறினார்கள் என்பதை வெளிக்காட்டும்படியான செயல்களைச் செய்யுமாறு மக்களுக்குக் கூறினேன். தமஸ்குவிலுள்ள மக்களுக்கு முதலில் இதைக் கூற ஆரம்பித்தேன். பின் எருசலேமுக்கும், யூதேயாவின் ஒவ்வொரு பாகத்திற்கும் சென்று, அங்குள்ள மக்களுக்கு இவற்றைக் கூறினேன். மேலும் யூதரல்லாத மக்களிடமும் நான் சென்றேன்.
