அப்படியே யோவாபின் மனுஷரும், கிரேத்தியரும் பிலேத்தியரும், சகல பலசாலிகளும் அவன் பிறகாலே புறப்பட்டு, பிக்கிரியின் குமாரனாகிய சேபாவைப் பின்தொடர எருசலேமிலிருந்து போனார்கள்.

அப்படியே யோவாபின் மனிதர்களும், கிரேத்தியர்களும் பிலேத்தியர்களும், எல்லா வலிமையான வீரர்களும் அவனுக்குப்பின்பாகப் புறப்பட்டு, பிக்கிரியின் மகனான சேபாவைப் பின்தொடர்வதற்கு எருசலேமிலிருந்து போனார்கள்.

எனவே யோவாப் பிக்கிரியின் மகனாகிய சேபாவைத் துரத்துவதற்காக எருசலேமை விட்டுச் சென்றான். கிரேத்தியர் பிலேத்தியர் மற்ற வீரர்கள் ஆகியோரோடுகூட யோவாப் தன் ஆட்களையும் அழைத்துக் கொண்டான்.
