ஆகாஸ் தன் பிதாக்களோடே நித்திரையடைந்தபின், அவன் தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் தன் பிதாக்களண்டையிலே அடக்கம்பண்ணப்பட்டான்; அவன் குமாரனாகிய எசேக்கியா அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.

ஆகாஸ் இறந்தபின், அவன் தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் தன் முன்னோர்களுக்கு அருகில் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டான்; அவன் மகனாகிய எசேக்கியா அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.
