எசேக்கியா யூதாவெங்கும் இவ்வாறு செய்தார். அவர் தம் கடவுளாம் ஆண்டவர் திருமுன், நல்லவராகவும் நேர்மையுடையவராகவும் உண்மையுடையவராகவும் ஒழுகினார்.

2 Kings 20:3
ஆ கர்த்தாவே, நான் உமக்கு முன்பாக உண்மையும் மன உத்தமமுமாய் நடந்து, உமது பார்வைக்கு நலமானதைச் செய்தேன் என்பதை நினைத்தருளும் என்று விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணினான். எசேக்கியா மிகவும் அழுதான்.
