கோபுரங்கள்மேலும் அலங்கக்கோடிகள்மேலும் நின்று அம்புகளையும் பெரிய கற்களையும் பிரயோகிக்கிறதற்கு நிபுணரான தொழிலாளிகள் கற்பித்த யந்திரங்களையும் அவன் எருசலேமில் உண்டாக்கினான்; அப்படியே அவன் கீர்த்தி வெகுதூரம் பரம்பிற்று; அவன் பலப்படுமட்டும் ஆச்சரியமாய் அவனுக்கு அநுகூலமுண்டாயிற்று.

கோபுரங்கள்மேலும் மதிலின் முனையிலும் நின்று அம்புகளையும் பெரிய கற்களையும் பயன்படுத்துவதற்கு நிபுணரான தொழிலாளிகள் கற்பித்த இயந்திரங்களையும் அவன் எருசலேமில் உண்டாக்கினான்; அப்படியே அவனுடைய புகழ் வெகுதூரம் பரவியது; அவன் பலப்படும்வரை ஆச்சரியமான விதத்தில் அவனுக்கு அநுகூலமுண்டானது.

எருசலேமில் உசியா, புத்திசாலிகளால் அமைக்கப்பட்ட எந்திரங்களை கோபுரங்களின் மேலும், சுவர்களின் மேலும் வைத்தான். இந்த எந்திரங்கள் அம்புகளையும், கற்களையும் எறித்தன. இதனால் உசியா பெரும் புகழ்பெற்றான். வெகு தொலை நாடுகளிலுள்ள ஜனங்களும் இவனைப்பற்றி அறிந்துகொண்டனர். அதிகமான உதவியைப் பெற்று அவன் வலிமைமிக்க ஒரு அரசனானான்.
