பின்பு யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அமத்சியா யோசனைபண்ணி, யெகூவின் குமாரனாகிய யோவாகாசின் புத்திரன் யோவாஸ் என்னும் இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவுக்கு: நம்முடைய சாமர்த்தியத்தைப் பார்ப்போம்வா என்று சொல்லியனுப்பினான்.

பின்பு யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய அமத்சியா யோசனைசெய்து, யெகூவின் மகனாக இருந்த யோவாகாசின் மகனாகிய யோவாஸ் என்னும் இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவுக்கு: நம்முடைய திறமையைப் பார்ப்போம் வா என்று சொல்லியனுப்பினான்.

யூதாவின் அரசனான அமத்சியா, தனது ஆலோசகர்களோடு ஆலோசனை செய்தான். பிறகு அவன் இஸ்ரவேலின் அரசனான யோவாசுக்குத் தூது அனுப்பினான். அமத்சியா யோவாசிடம், “நாம் இருவரும் நேருக்குநேர் சந்திப்போம்” என்று அழைத்தான். யோவாஸ் யோவாகாசின் மகன் ஆவான். யோவாகாஸ் யெகூவின் மகன் ஆவான்.
