ஆசாரியரும் லேவியரில் ஊழியம்செய்கிறவர்களும் தவிர, ஒருவரும் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கவேண்டாம்; அவர்களே உட்பிரவேசிப்பார்களாக; அவர்கள் பரிசுத்தமாக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்; ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் கர்த்தருடைய காவலைக் காப்பார்களாக.

அவர்கள் ஆரோனுடைய குமாரரின் கீழ்க் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் ஊழியமாய் நின்று, பிராகாரங்களையும், அறைகளையும், சகல பரிசுத்த பணிமுட்டுகளின் சுத்திகரிப்பையும், தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் ஆராதனைக்கடுத்த வேலையையும் விசாரிப்பதும்,

மூன்றில் ஒருபங்கு சூர் என்னும் வாசலிலும், மூன்றில் ஒருபங்கு காவலாளரின் காவலின் பிறகே இருக்கிற வாசலிலுமிருந்து ஆலயக்காவலைப் பத்திரமாய்க் காக்கவேண்டும்.
