கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்துக்காகச் சாலொமோன் செய்த வேலையெல்லாம் முடிந்தபோது, சாலொமோன் தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணும்படி நேர்ந்தவைகளைக் கொண்டுவந்து, வெள்ளியையும், பொன்னையும், சகல பணிமுட்டுகளையும், தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் பொக்கிஷங்களில் வைத்தான்.

இவ்வாறு, சாலமோன் செய்து வந்த ஆண்டவரின் இல்லப்பணி முடிவுற்றபோது, அவர்தம் தந்தை தாவீது கடவுளுக்கு அர்ப்பணித்தவற்றை எல்லாம் கொண்டுவந்து, பொன் வெள்ளியையும் எல்லாவிதக் கலன்களையும் கடவுள் இல்லத்தின் கருவூலங்களில் வைத்தார்.
