அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: ஆகாப் போய், கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள ராமோத்தில் விழும்படிக்கு, அவனுக்குப் போதனை செய்கிறவன் யார் என்று கேட்டதற்கு, ஒருவன் இப்படியும் ஒருவன் அப்படியும் சொன்னார்கள்.

கர்த்தர், ‘உங்களில் யாரேனும் அரசன் ஆகாபிடம் ஒரு தந்திரம் செய்வீர்களா? அவன் ராமோத்தில் இருக்கும் சீரியாவின் படையை எதிர்த்து சண்டையிட வேண்டுமென நான் விரும்புகிறேன். பின்னர் அவன் கொல்லப்படுவான்’ என்று சொன்னார். என்ன செய்யவேண்டுமென்பதைக் குறித்து தூதர்கள் ஒரு ஒத்த கருத்துக்கு வரவில்லை.
