விவாகம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டவர்களுக்கு நானல்ல, கர்த்தரே கட்டளையிடுகிறதாவது: மனைவியானவள் தன் புருஷனை விட்டுப் பிரிந்துபோகக்கூடாது.

தேவனுடைய மனிதனாகிய மோசேயின் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திற்கு ஏற்ற தங்கள் முறைமையின்படியே தங்களுக்கு நியமித்த இடத்திலே நின்றார்கள்; ஆசாரியர்கள் லேவியர்களின் கையிலிருந்து இரத்தத்தை வாங்கித் தெளித்தார்கள்.

தேவமனிதனாகிய மோசேயின் சட்டம் சொன்னபடி அவர்கள் ஆலயத்தில் தங்களது வழக்கமான இடத்தில் இருந்தார்கள். லேவியர்கள் இரத்தத்தை ஆசாரியர்களிடம் கொடுத்தனர். பிறகு ஆசாரியர்கள் இரத்தத்தைப் பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் தெளித்தனர்.
