புருஷனானவன் தேவனுடைய சாயலும் மகிமையுமாயிருக்கிறபடியால், தன் தலையை மூடிக்கொள்ளவேண்டுவதில்லை; ஸ்திரீயானவள் புருஷனுடைய மகிமையாயிருக்கிறாள்.

ஆணானவன் தேவனுடைய சாயலும் மகிமையுமாக இருக்கிறபடியால், தன் தலையை மூடிக்கொள்ளவேண்டியதில்லை; பெண்ணானவள் ஆணுடைய மகிமையாக இருக்கிறாள்.

ஆனால், ஓர் ஆண் தனது தலையை மூடக்கூடாது. ஏனெனில் அவன் தேவனைப் போல அமைக்கப்பட்டவன். அவன் தேவனுக்கு மகிமையாய் அமைபவன். ஆனால் பெண்ணோ ஆணுக்கு மகிமையாய் அமைபவள்.

ஆண் தம் தலையை மூடிக்கொள்ள வேண்டியதில்லை. ஏனெனில், அவரே கடவுளின் சாயலும் பெருமையும் ஆவார். ஆனால், பெண் ஆணின் பெருமையாய் இருக்கிறார்.
