எட்டாவது எஷாயா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும்,

எருசலேமிலும் பென்யமீனிலும் காணப்பட்ட யாவரையும் அதற்கு இணங்கச்செய்தான்; அப்படியே எருசலேமின் மக்கள் தங்கள் முன்னோர்களின் தேவனாகிய அந்த தேவனுடைய உடன்படிக்கையின்படியே செய்தார்கள்.

பிறகு யோசியா எருசலேம் மற்றும் பென்யமீன் நாட்டிலுள்ள அனைத்து ஜனங்களையும் உடன்படிக்கையை ஒப்புக்கொள்கிற வகையில் வாக்குறுதி தரச் செய்தான். தமது முற்பிதாக்கள் கீழ்ப்படிந்த தேவனுடைய உடன்படிக்கையை எருசலேம் ஜனங்களும் கீழ்ப்படிந்தார்கள்.

எருசலேமிலும் பென்யமீனிலும் காணப்பட்ட யாவரையும் அதற்கு உட்படப்பண்ணினான்; அப்படியே எருசலேமின் குடிகள் தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய அந்த தேவனுடைய உடன்படிக்கையின்படியே செய்தார்கள்.
