சகரியா 9
9 சீயோன் குமாரத்தியே, மிகவும் களிகூரு; எருசலேம் குமாரத்தியே, கெம்பீரி; இதோ, உன் ராஜா உன்னிடத்தில் வருகிறார்; அவர் நீதியுள்ளவரும் இரட்சிக்கிறவரும் தாழ்மையுள்ளவரும், கழுதையின்மேலும் கழுதைக்குட்டியாகிய மறியின்மேலும் ஏறிவருகிறவருமாயிருக்கிறார்.
10 எப்பிராயீமினின்று இரதங்களையும் எருசலேமினின்று குதிரைகளையும் அற்றுப்போகப்பண்ணுவேன், யுத்தவில்லும் இல்லாமற்போகும், அவர் ஜாதிகளுக்குச் சமாதானம் கூறுவார்; அவருடைய ஆளுகை ஒரு சமுத்திரந்தொடங்கி மறுசமுத்திரம்வரைக்கும், நதிதொடங்கிப் பூமியின் எல்லைகள்பரியந்தமும் செல்லும்.
9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.
