எபிரெயர் 12
4 பாவத்திற்கு விரோதமாய்ப் போராடுகிறதில் இரத்தஞ்சிந்தப்படத்தக்கதாக நீங்கள் இன்னும் எதிர்த்துநிற்கவில்லையே.
5 அன்றியும்: என் மகனே, கர்த்தருடைய சிட்சையை அற்பமாக எண்ணாதே, அவரால் கடிந்துகொள்ளப்படும்போது சோர்ந்துபோகாதே.
6 கர்த்தர் எவனிடத்தில் அன்புகூருகிறாரோ அவனை அவர் சிட்சித்து, தாம் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுகிற எந்த மகனையும் தண்டிக்கிறார் என்று பிள்ளைகளுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறதுபோல உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லியிருக்கிற புத்திமதியை மறந்தீர்கள்.
7 நீங்கள் சிட்சையைச் சகிக்கிறவர்களாயிருந்தால் தேவன் உங்களைப் புத்திரராக எண்ணி நடத்துகிறார்; தகப்பன் சிட்சியாத புத்திரனுண்டோ?
8 எல்லாருக்கும் கிடைக்கும் சிட்சை உங்களுக்குக் கிடையாதிருந்தால் நீங்கள் புத்திரராயிராமல் வேசிப்பிள்ளைகளாயிருப்பீர்களே.
9 அன்றியும், நம்முடைய சரீரத்தின் தகப்பன்மார்கள் நம்மைச் சிட்சிக்கும்போது, அவர்களுக்கு நாம் அஞ்சி நடந்திருக்க, நாம் பிழைக்கத்தக்கதாக ஆவிகளின் பிதாவுக்கு வெகு அதிகமாய் அடங்கி நடக்கவேண்டுமல்லவா?
10 அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு நலமென்று தோன்றினபடி கொஞ்சக்காலம் சிட்சித்தார்கள்; இவரோ தம்முடைய பரிசுத்தத்துக்கு நாம் பங்குள்ளவர்களாகும்பொருட்டு நம்முடைய பிரயோஜனத்துக்காகவே நம்மைச் சிட்சிக்கிறார்.
11 எந்தச் சிட்சையும் தற்காலத்தில் சந்தோஷமாய்க் காணாமல் துக்கமாய்க் காணும்; ஆகிலும் பிற்காலத்தில் அதில் பழகினவர்களுக்கு அது நீதியாகிய சமாதான பலனைத் தரும்.
4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
Esther 7 in Tamil and English
1 यसकारण राजा र हामान रानी एस्तर को भोजमा गए।
So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther the queen.
2 दोस्रो दिनमा जब राजाले दाखरस पिउँदै थिए उनले एस्तरलाई भने, “तिमी जे पनि निवेदन गर्छौ, रानी एस्तर गर, त्यो तिमीलाई प्रदान गरिनेछ। तिमी जे चाहन्छौ, आधा राज्य पनि तिम्रो लागि दिइन्छ, भन तिम्रो विन्ती के छ?”
And the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom.
3 अनि रानी एस्तरले जवाफ दिइन्, “यदि तपाईंले मलाई मन पराउनु हुन्छ भने, मलाई मेरो जीवन दिनुहोस यो मेरो निवेदन हो।
Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:
4 किनभने म र मेरा मानिसहरू विनाश हुन मारिन र ध्वंश गरिन बेचिएका छौं। यदि हामी कमरा स्वरूप मात्र बेचिएको भए म शान्त हुने थिएँ। म यस्तो तुच्छतामा राजालाई झन्झट दिने थिईंन होला। म चुपचाप भए पनि हुनेथियो किनभने यस्तो अर्थ दासत्व सच्चाईले राजाले राजालाई दुखित नबनाएको भए पनि हुने थियो।”
For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish. But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king’s damage.
5 अनि राजा अहासूरसले झर्केर रानी एस्तरलाई भने, “यो को हो अनि त्यो कहाँ बस्छ जसले यस्तो कुरा गर्ने भनि सोच्न सक्छ?”
Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so?
6 अनि एस्तरले भनिन्, “त्यो अभिन मान्छे, हाम्रो शत्रु यो दुष्ट हामान हो।”हामान, राजा अनि रानी समक्ष भयभित भए।
And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.
7 अनि राजा क्रोधले उठे तिनी दाखरस छाडेर भोजबाट राजमहलको वाटीका मा गए। अनि हामान रानीसँग आफ्नो प्राणको भिक्षा माग्न उभिए, किनभने तिनले सोंचे राजाको दण्ड ठूलो हुनेछ।
And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.
8 तब राजा बगैंचाबाट भोजन कोठामा फर्किदै थिए अनि तिनले हामानलाई एस्तर रानी पल्टिरहेको सोफामा लडिरहेका देखे। राजाले रिसाएर भने, “म घरमा भएकै बेलामा तैंले रानीलाई आक्रमण गरिरहेछस्।” जब ती वचनहरू राजाको मुखबाट निस्किए राजाका नोकरहरूले हामानलाई बन्दी बनाए।
Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.
9 तब हर्बोना, राजाको समक्ष सेवा गर्ने एक जना नपुंसकले भने, “राजालाई सावधान गराउनेमानिस मोर्दकैको निम्ति हामानले बनाएको 75 फीट अग्लो फाँसी हामानको छत्मा खडा छ।”राजाले भने, “त्यसलाई त्यो फाँसीमा भुण्डयाऊ।”
And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.
10 यसरी तिनीहरूले हामानलाई त्यही फाँसीमा झुण्डयाए जो तिनले मोर्दकैको निम्ति बनाएका थिए। अनि राजाको क्रोध शान्त भयो।
So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified.
