யாத்திராகமம் 28
1 உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோன் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யும்படிக்கு, நீ ஆரோனையும் அவனோடேகூட அவன் குமாரராகிய நாதாப், அபியூ, எலெயாசார், இத்தாமார் என்னும் ஆரோனின் குமாரரையும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிலிருந்து பிரித்து, உன்னிடத்தில் சேர்த்துக்கொள்வாயாக.
2 உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோனுக்கு, மகிமையும் அலங்காரமுமாய் இருக்கும் பொருட்டு, பரிசுத்த வஸ்திரங்களை உண்டுபண்ணுவாயாக.
3 ஆரோன் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யத்தக்கதாக அவனைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தும்படி அவனுக்கு வஸ்திரங்களை உண்டாக்கும்பொருட்டு, நான் ஞானத்தின் ஆவியால் நிரப்பின விவேகமான இருதயமுள்ள யாவரோடும் நீ சொல்லுவாயாக.
4 அவர்கள் உண்டாக்கவேண்டிய வஸ்திரங்களாவன; மார்ப்பதக்கமும், ஏபோத்தும், அங்கியும், விசித்திரமான உள்சட்டையும், பாகையும், இடைக்கச்சையுமே. உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோன் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யும்படி, அவனுக்கும் அவன் குமாரருக்கும் பரிசுத்த வஸ்திரங்களை உண்டுபண்ணவேண்டும்.
5 அவர்கள் பொன்னும் இளநீலநூலும் இரத்தாம்பரநூலும் சிவப்புநூலும் மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலும் சேகரிப்பார்களாக.
1 And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.
2 And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.
3 And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
4 And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
5 And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen.
