மத்தேயு 15:32
பின்பு, இயேசு தம்முடைய சீஷர்களை அழைத்து: ஜனங்களுக்காகப் பரிதபிக்கிறேன், இவர்கள் என்னிடத்தில் மூன்று நாட்கள் தங்கியிருந்து சாப்பிட ஒன்றுமில்லாதிருக்கிறார்கள்; இவர்களைப் பட்டினியாய் அனுப்பிவிட எனக்கு மனதில்லை, வழியில் சோர்ந்து போவார்களே என்றார்.
Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.
மத்தேயு 15:33
அதற்கு அவருடைய சீஷர்கள்: இவ்வளவு திரளான ஜனங்களுக்குத் திருப்தியுண்டாகும்படி வேண்டிய அப்பங்கள் இந்த வனாந்தரத்திலே நமக்கு எப்படி அகப்படும் என்றார்கள்.
And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?
மத்தேயு 15:34
அதற்கு இயேசு: உங்களிடத்தில் எத்தனை அப்பங்கள் உண்டு என்று கேட்டார். அவர்கள்: ஏழு அப்பங்களும் சில சிறு மீன்களும் உண்டு என்றார்கள்.
And Jesus says unto them, How many loaves have all of you? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.

அப்பொழுது அவர் ஜனங்களைத் தரையில் பந்தியிருக்கக் கட்டளையிட்டு,
And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.
மத்தேயு 15:36
அந்த ஏழு அப்பங்களையும் அந்த மீன்களையும் எடுத்து, ஸ்தோத்திரம் பண்ணி, பிட்டுத் தம்முடைய சீஷர்களிடத்தில் கொடுத்தார்; சீஷர்கள் ஜனங்களுக்குப் பரிமாறினார்கள்.
And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
மத்தேயு 15:37
எல்லாரும் சாப்பிட்டுத் திருப்தியடைந்தார்கள்; மீதியான துணிக்கைகளை ஏழு கூடை நிறைய எடுத்தார்கள்.
And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken food that was left seven baskets full.
மத்தேயு 15:38
ஸ்திரீகளும் பிள்ளைகளும் தவிர, சாப்பிட்ட புருஷர் நாலாயிரம் பேராயிருந்தார்கள்.
And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.
மத்தேயு 15:39
அவர் ஜனங்களை அனுப்பிவிட்டு, படவில் ஏறி, மக்தலாவின் எல்லைகளில் வந்தார்.
And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.
யோனா 4:11
வலதுகைக்கும் இடதுகைக்கும் வித்தியாசம் அறியாத இலட்சத்து இருபதினாயிரம்பேருக்கு அதிகமான மனுஷரும் அநேக மிருகஜீவன்களும் இருக்கிற மகா நகரமாகிய நினிவேக்காக நான் பரிதபியாமலிருப்பேனோ என்றார்.
And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more then sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?

சீயோனோ: கர்த்தர் என்னைக் கைவிட்டார், ஆண்டவர் என்னை மறந்தார் என்று சொல்லுகிறாள்.
But Zion said, The LORD has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me.

ஸ்திரீயானவள் தன் கர்ப்பத்தின் பிள்ளைக்கு இரங்காமல், தன் பாலகனை மறப்பாளோ? அவர்கள் மறந்தாலும், நான் உன்னை மறப்பதில்லை.
Can a woman forget her nursing infant, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget you.
ஏசாயா 49:16
இதோ, என் உள்ளங்கைகளில் உன்னை வரைந்திருக்கிறேன்; உன் மதில்கள் எப்போதும் என்முன் இருக்கிறது.
Behold, I have graven you upon the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.

ஆண்டவரே, நீர் நல்லவரும், மன்னிக்கிறவரும், உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிற யாவர்மேலும் கிருபை மிகுந்தவருமாயிருக்கிறீர்.
For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; and abundant in mercy unto all them that call upon you.
