அப்போஸ்தலர் 7
54 இவைகளை அவர்கள் கேட்டபொழுது, மூர்க்கமடைந்து, அவனைப் பார்த்துப் பல்லைக் கடித்தார்கள்.
55 அவன் பரிசுத்த ஆவியிலே நிறைந்ததவனாய், வானத்தை அண்ணாந்துபார்த்து: தேவனுடைய மகிமையையும், தேவனுடைய வலதுபாரிசத்தில் இயேசு நிற்கிறதையும் கண்டு;
56 அதோ வானங்கள் திறந்திருக்கிறதையும், மனுஷகுமாரன் தேவனுடைய வலதுபாரிசத்தில் நிற்கிறதையும் காண்கிறேன் என்றான்.
57 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் உரத்தசத்தமாய்க் கூக்குரலிட்டுத் தங்கள் காதுகளை அடைத்துக்கொண்டு, ஒருமனப்பட்டு அவன்மேல் பாய்ந்து,
58 அவனை நகரத்துக்குப் புறம்பே தள்ளி அவனைக் கல்லெறிந்தார்கள். சாட்சிக்காரர் தங்கள் வஸ்திரங்களைக் கழற்றி, சவுல் என்னப்பட்ட ஒரு வாலிபனுடைய பாதத்தினருகே வைத்தார்கள்
59 அப்பொழுது. கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவே, என் ஆவியை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுமென்று ஸ்தேவான் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகையில், அவனைக் கல்லெறிந்தார்கள்.
54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.
55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,
58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.
59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
