6 அப்பொழுது தாவீது அபிசாயைப் பார்த்து: அப்சலோமைப்பார்க்கிலும் பிக்கிரியின் குமாரனாகிய சேபா, இப்பொழுது நமக்குப் பொல்லாப்புச் செய்வான்; அவன் அரணான பட்டணங்களில் வந்தடைந்து, நம்முடைய கண்களுக்குத் தப்பிப்போகாதபடிக்கு, நீ உன் எஜமானுடைய சேவகரைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, அவனைப் பின்தொடர்ந்துபோ என்றான்.
7 அப்படியே யோவாபின் மனுஷரும், கிரேத்தியரும் பிலேத்தியரும், சகல பலசாலிகளும் அவன் பிறகாலே புறப்பட்டு, பிக்கிரியின் குமாரனாகிய சேபாவைப் பின்தொடர எருசலேமிலிருந்து போனார்கள்.
6 And David said to Abishai, Now shall Sheba the son of Bichri do us more harm than did Absalom: take thou thy lord’s servants, and pursue after him, lest he get him fenced cities, and escape us.
7 And there went out after him Joab’s men, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, and all the mighty men: and they went out of Jerusalem, to pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.
