நீ தேசத்தின் எல்லா ஜனத்தோடும் ஆசாரியர்களோடும் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால், நீங்கள் இந்த எழுபது வருஷமாக ஐந்தாம் மாதத்திலும் ஏழாம் மாதத்திலும் உபாவாசம்பண்ணி துக்கங்கொண்டாடினபோது நீங்கள் எனக்கென்றுதானா உபவாசம்பண்ணினீர்கள்.

כָּל

But I scattered them with a whirlwind	וְאֵ֣סָעֲרֵ֗ם	wĕʾēsāʿărēm	veh-A-sa-uh-RAME
among	עַ֤ל	ʿal	al
all	כָּל	kāl	kahl
the nations	הַגּוֹיִם֙	haggôyim	ha-ɡoh-YEEM
whom	אֲשֶׁ֣ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
they knew	לֹֽא	lōʾ	loh
not.	יְדָע֔וּם	yĕdāʿûm	yeh-da-OOM
Thus the land	וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙	wĕhāʾāreṣ	veh-ha-AH-RETS
was desolate	נָשַׁ֣מָּה	nāšammâ	na-SHA-ma
after	אַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֔ם	ʾaḥărêhem	ah-huh-ray-HEM
them, that no man passed through	מֵֽעֹבֵ֖ר	mēʿōbēr	may-oh-VARE
nor returned:	וּמִשָּׁ֑ב	ûmiššāb	oo-mee-SHAHV
for they laid	וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ	wayyāśîmû	va-ya-SEE-moo
the pleasant	אֶֽרֶץ	ʾereṣ	EH-rets
land	חֶמְדָּ֖ה	ḥemdâ	hem-DA
desolate.	לְשַׁמָּֽה׃	lĕšammâ	leh-sha-MA
