மேய்ப்பருக்கு விரோதமாக என் கோபம்மூண்டது, கடாக்களைத் தண்டித்தேன்; சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் யூதா வம்சத்தாராகிய தமது மந்தையை விசாரித்து, அவர்களை யுத்தத்திலே தமது சிறந்த குதிரையாக நிறுத்துவார்.

עַל, כִּֽי

For	כִּ֧י	kî	kee
the idols	הַתְּרָפִ֣ים	hattĕrāpîm	ha-teh-ra-FEEM
have spoken	דִּבְּרוּ	dibbĕrû	dee-beh-ROO
vanity,	אָ֗וֶן	ʾāwen	AH-ven
and the diviners	וְהַקּֽוֹסְמִים֙	wĕhaqqôsĕmîm	veh-ha-koh-seh-MEEM
have seen	חָ֣זוּ	ḥāzû	HA-zoo
a lie,	שֶׁ֔קֶר	šeqer	SHEH-ker
and have told	וַֽחֲלֹמוֹת֙	waḥălōmôt	va-huh-loh-MOTE
false	הַשָּׁ֣וא	haššāw	ha-SHAHV
dreams;	יְדַבֵּ֔רוּ	yĕdabbērû	yeh-da-BAY-roo
they comfort	הֶ֖בֶל	hebel	HEH-vel
in vain:	יְנַֽחֵמ֑וּן	yĕnaḥēmûn	yeh-na-hay-MOON
therefore	עַל	ʿal	al
	כֵּן֙	kēn	kane
they went their way	נָסְע֣וּ	nosʿû	nose-OO
as	כְמוֹ	kĕmô	heh-MOH
a flock,	צֹ֔אן	ṣōn	tsone
they were troubled,	יַעֲנ֖וּ	yaʿănû	ya-uh-NOO
because	כִּֽי	kî	kee
there was no	אֵ֥ין	ʾên	ane
