சங்கீதம் 14
1 தேவன் இல்லை என்று மதிகெட்டவன் தன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொள்ளுகிறான். அவர்கள் தங்களைக் கெடுத்து, அருவருப்பான கிரியைகளைச் செய்துவருகிறார்கள்; நன்மை செய்கிறவன் ஒருவனும் இல்லை.
2 தேவனைத் தேடுகிற உணர்வுள்ளவன் உண்டோ என்று பார்க்க கர்த்தர் பரலோகத்திலிருந்து மனுபுத்திரரைக் கண்ணோக்கினார்.
3 எல்லாரும் வழிவிலகி, ஏகமாய்க் கெட்டுப்போனார்கள்; நன்மைசெய்கிறவன் இல்லை, ஒருவனாகிலும் இல்லை.
4 அக்கிரமக்காரரில் ஒருவனுக்கும் அறிவு இல்லையோ? அப்பத்தைப் பட்சிக்கிறதுபோல என் ஜனத்தைப் பட்சிக்கிறார்களே; அவர்கள் கர்த்தரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறதில்லை.
5 அங்கே அவர்கள் மிகவும் பயந்தார்கள்; தேவன் நீதிமானுடைய சந்ததியோடே இருக்கிறாரே.
6 சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுக்குக் கர்த்தர் அடைக்கலமாயிருக்கிறார் என்று சொல்லி, நீங்கள் அவனுடைய ஆலோசனையை அலட்சியம்பண்ணினீர்கள்.
1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
2 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord.
5 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6 Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge.
