וַֽיְהִי֙ it va-HEE כַּֽאֲשֶׁר came KA-uh-sher תַּ֣מּוּ to TA-moo כָל pass, hahl הַגּ֔וֹי when HA-ɡoy לַֽעֲב֖וֹר all la-uh-VORE אֶת the et הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן people ha-yahr-DANE וַיֹּ֣אמֶר were va-YOH-mer יְהוָ֔ה clean yeh-VA אֶל passed el יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ over yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah לֵאמֹֽר׃ lay-MORE -
קְח֤וּ you keh-HOO לָכֶם֙ twelve la-HEM מִן meen הָעָ֔ם men ha-AM שְׁנֵ֥ים sheh-NAME עָשָׂ֖ר out ah-SAHR אֲנָשִׁ֑ים of uh-na-SHEEM אִישׁ the eesh אֶחָ֥ד people, eh-HAHD אִישׁ out eesh אֶחָ֖ד of eh-HAHD מִשָּֽׁבֶט׃ every mee-SHA-vet -
וְצַוּ֣וּ command veh-TSA-woo אוֹתָם֮ ye oh-TAHM לֵאמֹר֒ them, lay-MORE שְׂאֽוּ saying, seh-OO לָכֶ֨ם Take la-HEM מִזֶּ֜ה you mee-ZEH מִתּ֣וֹךְ hence MEE-toke הַיַּרְדֵּ֗ן out ha-yahr-DANE מִמַּצַּב֙ of mee-ma-TSAHV רַגְלֵ֣י the rahɡ-LAY הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֔ים midst ha-koh-huh-NEEM הָכִ֖ין of ha-HEEN שְׁתֵּים Jordan, sheh-TAME עֶשְׂרֵ֣ה out es-RAY אֲבָנִ֑ים of uh-va-NEEM וְהַֽעֲבַרְתֶּ֤ם the veh-ha-uh-vahr-TEM אוֹתָם֙ place oh-TAHM עִמָּכֶ֔ם where ee-ma-HEM וְהִנַּחְתֶּ֣ם the veh-hee-nahk-TEM אוֹתָ֔ם priests' oh-TAHM בַּמָּל֕וֹן feet ba-ma-LONE אֲשֶׁר stood uh-SHER תָּלִ֥ינוּ firm, ta-LEE-noo ב֖וֹ twelve voh הַלָּֽיְלָה׃ ha-LA-yeh-la -
וַיִּקְרָ֣א Joshua va-yeek-RA יְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ called yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah אֶל el שְׁנֵ֤ים the sheh-NAME הֶֽעָשָׂר֙ twelve heh-ah-SAHR אִ֔ישׁ eesh אֲשֶׁ֥ר men, uh-SHER הֵכִ֖ין whom hay-HEEN מִבְּנֵ֣י he mee-beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל had yees-ra-ALE אִישׁ prepared eesh אֶחָ֥ד of eh-HAHD אִישׁ the eesh אֶחָ֖ד children eh-HAHD מִשָּֽׁבֶט׃ of mee-SHA-vet -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר Joshua va-YOH-mer לָהֶם֙ said la-HEM יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ unto yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah עִ֠בְרוּ them, EEV-roo לִפְנֵ֨י Pass leef-NAY אֲר֧וֹן over uh-RONE יְהוָ֛ה before yeh-VA אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֖ם the ay-loh-hay-HEM אֶל ark el תּ֣וֹךְ of toke הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן the ha-yahr-DANE וְהָרִ֨ימוּ Lord veh-ha-REE-moo לָכֶ֜ם your la-HEM אִ֣ישׁ God eesh אֶ֤בֶן into EH-ven אַחַת֙ the ah-HAHT עַל midst al שִׁכְמ֔וֹ of sheek-MOH לְמִסְפַּ֖ר Jordan, leh-mees-PAHR שִׁבְטֵ֥י and sheev-TAY בְנֵֽי take veh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ ye yees-ra-ALE -
לְמַ֗עַן this leh-MA-an תִּֽהְיֶ֛ה may tee-heh-YEH זֹ֥את be zote א֖וֹת a ote בְּקִרְבְּכֶ֑ם sign beh-keer-beh-HEM כִּֽי among kee יִשְׁאָל֨וּן you, yeesh-ah-LOON בְּנֵיכֶ֤ם that beh-nay-HEM מָחָר֙ when ma-HAHR לֵאמֹ֔ר your lay-MORE מָ֛ה children ma הָֽאֲבָנִ֥ים ask ha-uh-va-NEEM הָאֵ֖לֶּה their ha-A-leh לָכֶֽם׃ fathers la-HEM -

וַ֠יַּֽעַבְרוּ the VA-ya-av-roo בְּנֵֽי children beh-NAY רְאוּבֵ֨ן of reh-oo-VANE וּבְנֵי Reuben, oo-veh-NAY גָ֜ד and ɡahd וַֽחֲצִ֨י the va-huh-TSEE שֵׁ֤בֶט children SHAY-vet הַֽמְנַשֶּׁה֙ of hahm-na-SHEH חֲמֻשִׁ֔ים Gad, huh-moo-SHEEM לִפְנֵ֖י and leef-NAY בְּנֵ֣י half beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל the yees-ra-ALE כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר tribe ka-uh-SHER דִּבֶּ֥ר of dee-BER אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם Manasseh, uh-lay-HEM מֹשֶֽׁה׃ passed moh-SHEH -

בַּיּ֣וֹם that BA-yome הַה֗וּא day ha-HOO גִּדַּ֤ל the ɡee-DAHL יְהוָה֙ Lord yeh-VA אֶת magnified et יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah בְּעֵינֵ֖י Joshua beh-ay-NAY כָּל in kahl יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל the yees-ra-ALE וַיִּֽרְא֣וּ sight va-yee-reh-OO אֹת֔וֹ of oh-TOH כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר all ka-uh-SHER יָֽרְא֥וּ Israel; ya-reh-OO אֶת and et מֹשֶׁ֖ה they moh-SHEH כָּל feared kahl יְמֵ֥י him, yeh-MAY חַיָּֽיו׃ as ha-YAIV -
