எண்ணாகமம் 8
1 கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:
2 நீ ஆரோனோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: நீ விளக்குகளை ஏற்றும்போது ஏழு விளக்குகளும் விளக்குத்தண்டிற்கு நேரே எரியவேண்டும் என்று சொல் என்றார்.
3 கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபிரகாரம் ஆரோன் செய்து, விளக்குத்தண்டிற்கு நேரே ஒழுங்காக அதின் விளக்குகளை ஏற்றினான்.
4 இந்தக் குத்துவிளக்கு, அதின் பாதமுதல் பூக்கள்வரைக்கும் பொன்னினால் அடிப்புவேலையாய்ச் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது; கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குக் காண்பித்த மாதிரியின்படியே அவன் குத்துவிளக்கை உண்டாக்கினான்.
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.
3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the Lord commanded Moses.
4 And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the Lord had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick.
