സെഖർയ്യാവു 12:10
ഞാൻ ദാവീദ്ഗൃഹത്തിന്മേലും യെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളുടെമേലും കൃപയുടെയും യാചനകളുടെയും ആത്മാവിനെ പകരും; തങ്ങൾ കുത്തീട്ടുള്ളവങ്കലേക്കു അവർ നോക്കും; ഏകജാതനെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിക്കും; ആദ്യജാതനെക്കുറിച്ചു വ്യസനിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവൻ അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു വ്യസനിക്കും.

| the inhabitants | יוֹשֵׁ֣ב | yôšēb | yoh-SHAVE |
| of Jerusalem, | יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם | yĕrûšālaim | yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM |
| spirit the | ר֤וּחַ | rûaḥ | ROO-ak |
| of grace | חֵן֙ | ḥēn | hane |
| and of supplications: | וְתַ֣חֲנוּנִ֔ים | wĕtaḥănûnîm | veh-TA-huh-noo-NEEM |
| look shall they and | וְהִבִּ֥יטוּ | wĕhibbîṭû | veh-hee-BEE-too |
| upon | אֵלַ֖י | ʾēlay | ay-LAI |
| me | אֵ֣ת | ʾēt | ate |
| whom | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| pierced, have they | דָּקָ֑רוּ | dāqārû | da-KA-roo |
| and they shall mourn | וְסָפְד֣וּ | wĕsopdû | veh-sofe-DOO |
| for | עָלָ֗יו | ʿālāyw | ah-LAV |
| mourneth one as him, | כְּמִסְפֵּד֙ | kĕmispēd | keh-mees-PADE |
| for | עַל | ʿal | al |
| his only | הַיָּחִ֔יד | hayyāḥîd | ha-ya-HEED |
| bitterness in be shall and son, | וְהָמֵ֥ר | wĕhāmēr | veh-ha-MARE |
| for | עָלָ֖יו | ʿālāyw | ah-LAV |
| bitterness in is that one as him, | כְּהָמֵ֥ר | kĕhāmēr | keh-ha-MARE |
| for | עַֽל | ʿal | al |
| his firstborn. | הַבְּכֽוֹר׃ | habbĕkôr | ha-beh-HORE |
