ஆனாலும் ஜனங்கள் திரளாயிருக்கிறார்கள், இது மாரிகாலமுமாயிருக்கிறது, இங்கே வெளியிலே நிற்க எங்களாலே கூடாது; இது ஒருநாள் இரண்டுநாள் வேலையல்ல; இந்தக் காரியத்திலே கட்டளை மீறினவர்களாகிய நாங்கள் அநேகர்.

הַזֶּֽה׃

Let now	יַֽעֲמְדוּ	yaʿămdû	YA-um-doo
our rulers	נָ֣א	nāʾ	na
of all	שָׂ֠רֵינוּ	śārênû	SA-ray-noo
the congregation	לְֽכָל	lĕkol	LEH-hole
stand,	הַקָּהָ֞ל	haqqāhāl	ha-ka-HAHL
and let all	וְכֹ֣ל׀	wĕkōl	veh-HOLE
them which	אֲשֶׁ֣ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
have taken	בֶּֽעָרֵ֗ינוּ	beʿārênû	beh-ah-RAY-noo
strange	הַֽהֹשִׁ֞יב	hahōšîb	ha-hoh-SHEEV
wives	נָשִׁ֤ים	nāšîm	na-SHEEM
in our cities	נָכְרִיּוֹת֙	nokriyyôt	noke-ree-YOTE
come	יָבֹא֙	yābōʾ	ya-VOH
at appointed	לְעִתִּ֣ים	lĕʿittîm	leh-ee-TEEM
times,	מְזֻמָּנִ֔ים	mĕzummānîm	meh-zoo-ma-NEEM
and with	וְעִמָּהֶ֛ם	wĕʿimmāhem	veh-ee-ma-HEM
them the elders	זִקְנֵי	ziqnê	zeek-NAY
of every city,	עִ֥יר	ʿîr	eer
	וָעִ֖יר	wāʿîr	va-EER
and the judges	וְשֹֽׁפְטֶ֑יהָ	wĕšōpĕṭêhā	veh-shoh-feh-TAY-ha
thereof, until	עַ֠ד	ʿad	ad
the fierce	לְהָשִׁ֞יב	lĕhāšîb	leh-ha-SHEEV
wrath	חֲר֤וֹן	ḥărôn	huh-RONE
of our God	אַף	ʾap	af
for	אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙	ʾĕlōhênû	ay-loh-HAY-NOO
this	מִמֶּ֔נּוּ	mimmennû	mee-MEH-noo
matter	עַ֖ד	ʿad	ad
be turned	לַדָּבָ֥ר	laddābār	la-da-VAHR
from	הַזֶּֽה׃	hazze	ha-ZEH
