யாத்திராகமம் 20
1 தேவன் பேசிச் சொல்லிய சகல வார்த்தைகளுமாவன:
2 உன்னை அடிமைத்தன வீடாகிய எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணின உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நானே.
3 என்னையன்றி உனக்கு வேறே தேவர்கள் உண்டாயிருக்கவேண்டாம்.
4 மேலே வானத்திலும், கீழே பூமியிலும், பூமியின்கீழ்த் தண்ணீரிலும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறவைகளுக்கு ஒப்பான ஒரு சொரூபத்தையாகிலும் யாதொரு விக்கிரகத்தையாகிலும் நீ உனக்கு உண்டாக்க வேண்டாம்;
5 நீ அவைகளை நமஸ்கரிக்கவும் சேவிக்கவும் வேண்டாம்; உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தராயிருக்கிற நான் எரிச்சலுள்ள தேவனாயிருந்து, என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களைக் குறித்துப் பிதாக்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தைப் பிள்ளைகளிடத்தில் மூன்றாம் நான்காம் தலைமுறைமட்டும் விசாரிக்கிறவராயிருக்கிறேன்.
6 என்னிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, என் கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்கோ ஆயிரம் தலைமுறைமட்டும் இரக்கஞ் செய்கிறவராயிருக்கிறேன்.
7 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தை வீணிலே வழங்காதிருப்பாயாக; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய நாமத்தை வீணிலே வழங்குகிறவனைத் தண்டியாமல் விடார்.
8 ஓய்வுநாளைப் பரிசுத்தமாய் ஆசரிக்க நினைப்பாயாக;
9 ஆறுநாளும் நீ வேலைசெய்து, உன் கிரியைகளையெல்லாம் நடப்பிப்பாயாக;
10 ஏழாம்நாளோ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய ஓய்வுநாள்; அதிலே நீயானாலும், உன் குமாரனானாலும், உன் குமாரத்தியானாலும், உன் வேலைக்காரனானாலும், உன் வேலைக்காரியானாலும், உன் மிருக ஜீவனானாலும், உன் வாசல்களில் இருக்கிற அந்நியனானாலும், யாதொரு வேலையும் செய்யவேண்டாம்.
11 கர்த்தர் ஆறுநாளைக்குள்ளே வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் சமுத்திரத்தையும் அவைகளிலுள்ள எல்லாவற்றையும் உண்டாக்கி, ஏழாம்நாளிலே ஓய்ந்திருந்தார்; ஆகையால், கர்த்தர் ஓய்வுநாளை ஆசீர்வதித்து, அதைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்கினார்.
12 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குக் கொடுக்கிற தேசத்திலே உன் நாட்கள் நீடித்திருப்பதற்கு, உன் தகப்பனையும் உன் தாயையும் கனம்பண்ணுவாயாக.
13 கொலை செய்யாதிருப்பாயாக.
14 விபசாரம் செய்யாதிருப்பாயாக.
15 களவு செய்யாதிருப்பாயாக.
16 பிறனுக்கு விரோதமாகப் பொய்ச்சாட்சி சொல்லாதிருப்பாயாக.
17 பிறனுடைய வீட்டை இச்சியாதிருப்பாயாக; பிறனுடைய மனைவியையும், அவனுடைய வேலைக்காரனையும், அவனுடைய வேலைக்காரியையும், அவனுடைய எருதையும், அவனுடைய கழுதையையும், பின்னும் பிறனுக்குள்ள யாதொன்றையும் இச்சியாதிருப்பாயாக என்றார்.
1 And God spake all these words, saying,
2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15 Thou shalt not steal.
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.
1 சகல ஜனங்களே, கைகொட்டி தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகக் கெம்பீர சத்தமாய் ஆர்ப்பரியுங்கள்.
O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
2 உன்னதமானவராகிய கர்த்தர் பயங்கரமானவரும், பூமியின்மீதெங்கும் மகத்துவமான ராஜாவுமாயிருக்கிறார்.
For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
3 ஜனங்களை நமக்கு வசப்படுத்தி, ஜாதிகளை நம்முடைய பாதங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்துவார்.
He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
4 தமக்குப் பிரியமான யாக்கோபின் சிறப்பான தேசத்தை நமக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகத் தெரிந்தளிப்பார். (சேலா.)
He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
5 தேவன் ஆர்ப்பரிப்போடும், கர்த்தர் எக்காள சத்தத்தோடும் உயர எழுந்தருளினார்.
God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
6 தேவனைப் போற்றிப் பாடுங்கள், பாடுங்கள்; நம்முடைய ராஜாவைப் போற்றிப் பாடுங்கள், பாடுங்கள்.
Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
7 தேவன் பூமியனைத்திற்கும் ராஜா; கருத்துடனே அவரைப் போற்றிப் பாடுங்கள்.
For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
8 தேவன் ஜாதிகள்மேல் அரசாளுகிறார்; தேவன் தமது பரிசுத்த சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருக்கிறார்.
God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
9 ஜனங்களின் பிரபுக்கள் ஆபிரகாமின் தேவனுடைய ஜனங்களாகச் சேர்க்கப்படுகிறார்கள்; பூமியின் கேடகங்கள் தேவனுடையவைகள்; அவர் மகா உன்னதமானவர்.
The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
