Jeremiah 40:1
The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains among all that were carried away captive of Jerusalem and Judah, which were carried away captive unto Babylon.

ராமா நகரத்தில் எரேமியா விடுதலை செய்யப்பட்டப் பிறகு கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து வார்த்தை வந்தது. நேபுசராதான் எனும் பாபிலோனிய அரசனது சிறப்புக் காவலாளிகளின் தளபதி ராமா நகரில் எரேமியாவைக் கண்டான். எரேமியா சங்கிலிகளால் கட்டப்பட்டிருந்தான். அவன் எருசலேம் மற்றும் யூதாவின் கைதிகளுக்கு இடையில் இருந்தான். அக்கைதிகள் பாபிலோனுக்குக் கொண்டு போவதற்காக இருந்தனர்.
