ராமாவிலே புலம்பலும் கசப்பான அழுகையுமாகிய கூக்குரல் கேட்கப்பட்டது; ராகேல் தன் பிள்ளைகளுக்காக அழுது, தன் பிள்ளைகள் இல்லாதபடியால் அவைகளினிமித்தம் ஆறுதல் அடையாதிருக்கிறாள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.
