Genesis 8:9
But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

பூமியின்மேலெங்கும் தண்ணீர் இருந்ததினால், அந்தப் புறா தன் உள்ளங்கால் வைத்து இளைப்பாற இடம் கிடைக்காததால், திரும்பிக் கப்பலிலே அவனிடத்திற்கு வந்தது; அவன் தன் கையை நீட்டி அதைப்பிடித்துத் தன்னிடமாகக் கப்பலுக்குள் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டான்.

ஆனால் தண்ணீர் இன்னும் பூமியில் பரவியிருந்தது. எனவே புறா மீண்டும் கப்பலுக்கே திரும்பி வந்தது. நோவா அதனைத் தன் கையை நீட்டிப் பிடித்து கப்பலுக்குள் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டான்.
