1 சாமுவேல் 2:8
அவர் சிறியவனைப் புழுதியிலிருந்து எடுத்து, எளியவனைக் குப்பையிலிருந்து உயர்த்துகிறார்; அவர்களைப் பிரபுக்களோடே உட்காரவும், மகிமையுள்ள சிங்காசனத்தைச் சுதந்தரிக்கவும் பண்ணுகிறர்; பூமியின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் கர்த்தருடையவைகள்; அவரே அவைகளின்மேல் பூச்சக்கரத்தை வைத்தார்.
He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’s, and he has set the world upon them.
1 சாமுவேல் 1:6
கர்த்தர் அவள் கர்ப்பத்தை அடைத்தபடியினால், அவளுடைய சக்களத்தி அவள் துக்கப்படும்படியாக அவளை மிகவும் விசனப்படுத்துவாள்.
And her adversary also provoked her sore, in order to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.
1 சாமுவேல் 1:7
அவள் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குப் போகும் சமயத்தில், அவன் வருஷந்தோறும் அந்தப்பிரகாரமாய்ச் செய்வான்; இவள் அவளை மனமடிவாக்குவாள்; அப்பொழுது அவள் சாப்பிடாமல் அழுதுகொண்டிருப்பாள்.
And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.
1 சாமுவேல் 1:10
அவள் போய், மனங்கசந்து, மிகவும் அழுது, கர்த்தரை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணி:
And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.
1 சாமுவேல் 1:11
சேனைகளின் கர்த்தாவே, தேவரீர் உம்முடைய அடியாளின் சிறுமையைக் கண்ணோக்கிப் பார்த்து, உம்முடைய அடியாளை மறவாமல் நினைந்தருளி, உமது அடியாளுக்கு ஒரு ஆண்பிள்ளையைக் கொடுத்தால், அவன் உயிரோடிருக்கும் சகல நாளும் நான் அவனைக் கர்த்தருக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்; அவன் தலையின்மேல் சவரகன் கத்தி படுவதில்லை என்று ஒரு பொருத்தனை பண்ணினாள்.
And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if you will indeed look on the affliction of yours handmaid, and remember me, and not forget yours handmaid, but will give unto yours handmaid a male child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.
1 சாமுவேல் 2:1
அப்பொழுது அன்னாள் ஜெபம் பண்ணி: எΩ் இருதயம் கர்த்தர`Ε்குள் களிகூருகிறது; எΩ் கொΠύபு கரύத்தருக்குள் உயர்ந்திருக்கிறது; என் பகைஞரின்மேல் என் வாய் திறந்திருக்கிறது; உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பினாலே சந்தோஷப்படுகிறேன்.
And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoices in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in your salvation.
1 சாமுவேல் 2:2
கர்த்தரைப்போலப் பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவர் இல்லை; உம்மையல்லாமல் வேறொருவரும் இல்லை; எங்கள் தேவனைப்போல ஒரு கன்மலையும் இல்லை.
There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside you: neither is there any rock like our God.
1 சாமுவேல் 16:6
அவர்கள் வந்தபோது, அவன் எலியாபைப் பார்த்தவுடனே: கர்த்தரால் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணப்படுபவன் இவன் தானாக்கும் என்றான்.
And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD’s anointed is before him.
1 சாமுவேல் 16:7
கர்த்தர் சாமுவேலை நோக்கி: நீ இவனுடைய முகத்தையும், இவனுடைய சரீரவளர்ச்சியையும் பார்க்கவேண்டாம்; நான் இவனைப் புறக்கணித்தேன்; மனுஷன் பார்க்கிறபடி நான் பாரேன்; மனுஷன் முகத்தைப் பார்ப்பான்: கர்த்தரோ இருதயத்தைப் பார்க்கிறார் என்றார்.
But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.
1 சாமுவேல் 16:8
அப்பொழுது ஈசாய் அபினதாபை அழைத்து, அவனைச் சாமுவேலுக்கு முன்பாகக் கடந்துபோகப்பண்ணினான்; அவன்: இவனையும் கர்த்தர் தெரிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை என்றான்.
Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, Neither has the LORD chosen this.
1 சாமுவேல் 16:9
ஈசாய் சம்மாவையும் கடந்துபோகப்பண்ணினான்; அவன்: இவனையும் கர்த்தர் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை என்றான்.
Then Jesse made Shammah to pass by. And he said, Neither has the LORD chosen this.
1 சாமுவேல் 16:10
இப்படி ஈசாய் தன் குமாரரில் ஏழுபேரை சாமுவேலுக்கு முன்பாகக் கடந்து போகப்பண்ணினான்; பின்பு சாமுவேல் ஈசாயைப் பார்த்து: கர்த்தர் இவர்களில் ஒருவனையும் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை என்று சொல்லி;
Again, Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, The LORD has not chosen these.
1 சாமுவேல் 16:11
உன் பிள்ளைகள் இவ்வளவுதானா என்று ஈசாயைக் கேட்டான். அதற்கு அவன்: இன்னும் எல்லாருக்கும் இளையவன் ஒருவன் இருக்கிறான்; அவன் ஆடுகளை மேய்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறான் என்றான்; அப்பொழுது சாமுவேல் ஈசாயை நோக்கி: ஆள் அனுப்பி அவனை அழைப்பி; அவன் இங்கே வருமட்டும் நான் பந்தியிருக்கமாட்டேன் என்றான்.
And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all your children? And he said, There remains yet the youngest, and, behold, he keeps the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he comes here.
1 சாமுவேல் 16:12
ஆள் அனுப்பி அவனை அழைப்பித்தான்; அவன் சிவந்தமேனியும், அழகியகண்களும், நல்ல ரூபமுமுள்ளவனாயிருந்தான்; அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: இவன் தான், நீ எழுந்து இவனை அபிஷேகம்பண்ணு என்றார்.
And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was rosy, and likewise of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.
ஏசாயா 60:22
சின்னவன் ஆயிரமும், சிறியவன் பலத்த ஜாதியுமாவான்; கர்த்தராகிய நான் ஏற்றகாலத்தில் இதைத் தீவிரமாய் நடப்பிப்பேன்.
A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.
1 கொரிந்தியர் 1:20
ஞானி எங்கே? வேதபாரகன் எங்கே? இப்பிரபஞ்சத் தர்க்கசாஸ்திரி எங்கே? இவ்வுலகத்தின் ஞானத்தை தேவன் பைத்தியமாக்கவில்லையா?
Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
1 கொரிந்தியர் 1:21
எப்படியெனில், தேவஞானத்துக்கேற்றபடி உலகமானது சுயஞானத்தினாலே தேவனை அறியாதிருக்கையில், பைத்தியமாகத் தோன்றுகிற பிரசங்கத்தினாலே விசுவாசிகளை இரட்சிக்க தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமாயிற்று.
For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
1 கொரிந்தியர் 1:27
ஞானிகளை வெட்கப்படுத்தும்படி தேவன் உலகத்தில் பைத்தியமானவைகளைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்; பலமுள்ளவைகளை வெட்கப்படுத்தும்படி தேவன் உலகத்தில் பலவீனமானவைகளைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்.
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
