ఈ పట్టణము బబులోను రాజుచేతికి అప్పగింపబడును, అతడు అగ్నిచేత దాని కాల్చివేయును; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

| saith | נְאֻם | nĕʾum | neh-OOM |
| the Lord: | יְהוָ֑ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| given be shall it | בְּיַד | bĕyad | beh-YAHD |
| into the hand | מֶ֤לֶךְ | melek | MEH-lek |
| of the king | בָּבֶל֙ | bābel | ba-VEL |
| Babylon, of | תִּנָּתֵ֔ן | tinnātēn | tee-na-TANE |
